Helping Landowners Protect Their Land—and Their Legacy

From your first consultation to decades of stable income, we guide you through each step of the solar leasing process with clarity, transparency, and respect for your land and your goals.

Why Lease? The Landowner Advantage

Leasing your land for renewable energy is a long-term way to generate income while keeping your land in your name. You maintain control of how your land is used, preserve it for future generations, and contribute to clean energy for your community. Unlike selling, leasing lets you benefit financially without giving up ownership or options.

Lease vs. Sell: What’s Right for You?

Choosing between leasing and selling your land is a major decision.

Leasing allows you to:

Retain ownership

Earn reliable income for 30 to 50 years

Maintain agricultural use on non-leased areas

Selling offers a one-time payment, but it transfers full control of your land to someone else. Most landowners choose to lease, and we support whichever option works best for your family.

Common Myths and Misconceptions

I’ll lose control of my land

With leasing, you maintain full ownership and may continue farming or grazing on areas not under lease.

Leasing will reduce my property value.

In many cases, value increases due to added infrastructure.

I’ll be responsible for maintenance or construction

You won’t. The developer handles all costs, permitting, and upkeep.

How It Works

We start with a free consultation to evaluate your property’s potential. This includes a review of acreage, nearby transmission lines, topography, and local zoning conditions. You provide your land details, and we handle the rest—no pressure and no cost.

Land Assessment Criteria

  • Acreage: 50+ acres is ideal, but some projects can work with less

  • Grid Proximity: Closer to substations and transmission lines is better

  • Topography: Flat or gently sloping land is preferred

  • Zoning: Fewer restrictions typically means higher viability

If your land meets our initial criteria, our team performs a detailed off-site evaluation. We assess access, infrastructure, and compatibility with solar development. If your land is a good match, you’ll receive a customized proposal outlining expected lease income, project timelines, and what improvements might be needed. You'll also see how you can continue using parts of your land throughout the lease term.

Once approved, we work with you to finalize a lease agreement that reflects your priorities. You continue owning your land while earning passive income for decades. During this time, the developer handles permitting, construction planning, and any required upgrades. If you prefer a purchase option, we’ll discuss what that might look like too.

After the agreement is signed, the developer begins site work. This is managed with minimal disruption to your property or community. You’ll remain informed throughout, and you’ll never be asked to cover costs. Once construction is complete and the system goes live, you begin receiving lease payments.

As the project operates, you’ll receive reliable annual payments—often significantly more than farming or grazing income—while maintaining ownership of your land. At the end of the lease, you’ll have the option to extend, renew, or return your land to its previous use. Throughout the life of the lease, you help strengthen American energy independence, preserve your land’s future, and support your family’s financial wellbeing.
